Fine Tech Inc. is a US-based technology company focused on the delivery of low latency, intuitive trading platforms to professional traders in the financial markets. Our Korean parent company, BLASHnet Co., Ltd. was established in May 1999 and is one of Asia's leading developers of investment charting, analysis software and real-time market data software with a client base including numerous securities firms including Korea Investment, Hyundai and Samsung.

Fine Tech was established in 2012 to bring localized versions of our market-leading technology to the financial firms in the US, and to partner with US based financial firms seeking entry to the highly competitive Asian market.

Management

Jim Choi, Chief Executive Officer

In college Mr. Choi studied economics, finance, statistics, and computer programming. After school, he worked for a sugar refinery, a subsidiary of The Samsung Group, as a market analyst in support of the hedging program for the importing raw sugar and exporting white sugar. He became very interested in technical market analysis and computerized trading and in 1992, he transferred to a Cheil(Former name of Eugene) future brokerage company, to fully focus on market analysis through technical analysis.

In 1996, the Korean Stock Exchange launched their stock index futures contract and Korean brokerage firms began offering electronic trading platforms for their customers,but their platforms were limited and inconvenient for traders. Seeing this as an opportunity, he established BLASHnet in 1999 to develop customized trading platforms which vastly improved the trading environment for the Korean market.
